Purpose

I woke up with some encouraging words in my heart this morning. Romans 11:29 says that the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. Sometimes we endure times when we don't feel like this is true; that God is through with us. Know that God is never through with you! His plan is perfect and true and His mind never changes about you. People may change their opinion about you and view you differently for various reasons but God never will. You have breath in your lungs because He has a purpose for you still. Don't judge your purpose by where you are in life! God's purpose and plan for your life is greater than the moment you find yourself in. Take that time to rest or even enjoy the down time with the perspective that when His timing is perfect, He will launch you into action! Never give up on the things that are in your heart, no matter how impossible they seem to be (and no matter your age). Is there anything too hard for God? Is anything impossible for Him? If times are hard and things are rough, trust in the Lord and know that it won't always be this way! Hard times develop strong character--a refining fire, as it is. You were meant for more than what you're doing. Stay faithful where you are for now but let hope arise within you! God is faithful, have faith in Him! He still has a plan for your life. And He has not given up on you...even if you're in the depths of the darkest of sinful pleasures or vices.

Share this message of hope. This isn't a gimmick or promotion of myself but rather a genuine reminder. If you understood where I've been the last few years and all that I've endured, you'd know that I had lost hope and pretty much given up on everything. I spent my life dreaming and there came a time where I stopped dreaming and lost all hope and purpose. That's no way to live! If I never share another message to people the rest of my life, I will share the message that God has a plan for you and He won't give up on you! Why? That's the message I've lived for years. The paragraph above was genuine encouragement spoken to me in my heart by the Holy Spirit. He still leads, guides, and speaks if we'll just look to Him, follow Him, and hear Him. No matter what season of life you find yourself in, know that His plan for you is PERFECT and His love remains unchanged!
