Grace To You

"Grace to you..." to the church at Rome... "Grace to you..." to the church at Corinth... "Grace to you..." to the church at Galatia. And Ephesus. And Philippi. And Colosse. And Thessalonica. "Grace to you, Timothy... and Titus... and Philemon..." Grace, grace, all over the place! All over the scripture. The blessed reality of God's grace has resulted in beautiful songs with anointed lyrics. This grace empowers us to say "no" to ungodliness and worldly lusts, and "yes" to sobriety, righteousness, and Godliness (Titus 2:12). May we not be mad or annoyed at the wrong word. May we not misplace our "concern". The devil is the only one I know who is stupid enough to try to make that precious word - GRACE - look like something about which the responsible believer should be concerned. Lewdness? Licentiousness? Lasciviousness? It's pretty safe to say that we can hate those things. But grace? No, not grace. May we embrace the grace. May The Great Physician be permitted to cut those 'unBIBLICAL' cords that attempt to nourish our man-made efforts. There's only One Who ever kept the law, and He actually fulfilled it (Matthew 5:17). And we're in Him. And He's in us. I don't understand it all. But I require Him. I require His grace. May His abundant grace flow through me like the mighty Niagara. "If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking..." God's goodness: overwhelming and underrated. I honestly don't know if anyone is even reading this, but I just want to do one big group hug...
